Baihe Gu is an Associate Professor at the Institutes of Science and Development, Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS). He got his Ph.D. in Management Science at University of CAS, and B.A. at University of Science and Technology of China. He is a contributing author to the IPCC AR6 WGIII. He is mainly engaged in research on China’s energy and climate policies. He also conducted some relevant research regarding the global climate governance, including climate cooperation strategy for BRI countries, and North-South cooperation on climate change. Now, his research focuses on renewable energy supply chain and low carbon transition pathway.
