Qi Qi

Former Postdoctoral Scholar

Qi Qi received her Ph.D. in Economics and Public Policy at Tufts in May 2022 with an emphasis on energy and environmental economics. Understanding the impact of international economic interaction on the clean energy transition in developing countries is a key focus of her work. She also studies the socioeconomic impact of rural electrification in India and green innovation of energy-intensive industries. Before coming to Tufts, she worked as researcher in the China Office of Australian Federal Police and then Australian Department of Resources and Energy to facilitate bilateral cooperation in fields of law enforcement, energy and natural resources. Her prior degrees are a B.A. in English Literature from Beijing Foreign Studies University, an MSc in International Relations from the University of Bristol, and an M.A.L.D. from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy.
