Saidou Abdoulaye Sy is a Postdoctoral Scholar at the Climate Policy Lab, located within the Center for International Environment and Resource Policy at Fletcher School. In this role, he actively contributes to advanced energy and climate modeling, which is an essential component of the Climate Policy Lab's Raising Ambition Project, primarily focused on emerging economies.

His research focuses on addressing economic challenges in developing countries, covering areas such as energy, climate change, quantitative methods, and policy analysis. Saidou holds a Ph.D. in Economics, a Master's degree in Quantitative Economics, and a Bachelor's degree in Mathematical Economics and Econometrics from the University of Tunis El Manar in Tunisia.

Prior to joining the Climate Policy Lab, he gained experience at international institutions including the Central Bank of West African States in Senegal, the United Nations University World Institute for Development Economics Research in Finland, and the Laboratory of Economics of Sustainable Development, Natural Resources, and Agriculture at the Faculty of Economics and Management of Tunis in Tunisia.
