Sara Rosales Laverty is an Assistant Director at The Fletcher School. She works within the Dean’s Office and the Center for International Environment and Resource Policy, a research center focused on climate and energy policy within Fletcher. Sara has been at Fletcher for six years, working as a Program Coordinator, Senior Program Coordinator, and now Assistant Director.
Sara previously worked in the non-profit sector, as a Program Coordinator at Rebuilding Together, NYC - an organization dedicated to providing critical home repairs, accessibility upgrades, and workforce training to unemployed and underemployed residents of all five boroughs in New York City. Prior to working at Rebuilding Together, Sara completed her master’s degree in Global Affairs with a concentration in Human Rights and International Law and a specialization in Gender Studies at New York University’s Center for Global Affairs. While studying at NYU, Sara interned with various organizations, including the New York State Division of Human Rights, Freedom House, and Parliamentarians for Global Action. Sara also has a bachelor’s degree in political science and philosophy from Roger Williams University.
